Emma Knight - Bloom and Baby Doula
🌿
Birth & Postnatal Doula in South West London

Hello and congratulations
I’m Emma Knight, a doula and mum of three, supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks with their baby across London and Surrey.

This is a significant transition, and it can bring excitement, uncertainty, and everything in between. You do not have to navigate it alone.

Whether you are preparing for birth, wanting continuous support during labour, or looking for calm, practical help once your baby arrives, I offer flexible, continuous doula support shaped around what you need most.

My role is always the same: to offer steady, experienced support, clear information, and calm reassurance so you feel more confident at every stage.

This is continuous care that grows with you. From pregnancy through birth and into early parenthood, you are not left to figure things out alone.

I bring a grounded, practical approach alongside evidence-based guidance and hypnobirthing techniques where helpful, so you feel informed, supported, and more at ease with whatever your journey brings.

You deserve to feel held, respected, and confident in your choices from the very beginning through to those early days with your baby.

Ways we can work together
Every family’s journey is different, so support is flexible and shaped around what feels right for you.

I offer continuous doula support across pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period in London and Surrey. You can choose the level of support that fits your needs, and we can build it around your experience.
🌿Birth Support
Calm, personalised antenatal preparation combined with continuous support during labour and birth.

This is for you if you want to feel informed, confident, and supported from pregnancy through to meeting your baby.
🌿Birth & Postnatal Support
Continuous support during labour, followed by steady, practical help as you adjust to life at home with your newborn.

This is ideal if you want reassurance through birth and grounded support in the early weeks.
🌿Postnatal support only
In-home support in the early weeks with your baby, focused on rest, recovery, feeding, newborn care, and emotional reassurance.

This is for families who want calm, practical help once baby has arrived.
My approach is always the same, whatever support you choose. I offer continuity, clear information, and calm, steady presence so you feel supported rather than overwhelmed.

This is care that adapts to you, not the other way around.
Here is what families have shared about their experience working together
T, Birth client
" Emma provided us with all the information, support, affirmations and empathy that we needed to feel confident and advocate for what we needed in the moment."
L, Birth Client
"Emma is kind, sensitive and warm. From the very beginning, you feel that she genuinely wants to support you in the best possible way, in a way that is right for you and your specific needs."
Support is not just about what I do, but how I show up for you
Why families choose to work with me
Choosing a doula is a very personal decision. You are not just booking support, you are inviting someone into one of the most significant experiences of your life.

Families often come to me because they want calm, continuity, and someone who stays steady when things feel uncertain.

As a doula and mum of three, I bring both professional
experience and lived understanding of how varied birth and early parenthood can be. I know how important it is to feel emotionally safe as well as practically supported.

My role is to stay present and grounded, even when plans change. To help you understand what is happening, feel confident in your choices, and feel less alone in the process.
I do not take over your experience. I support you in it, so you feel more like yourself, not less.

If you are looking for calm, experienced, and continuous support through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood, you are in the right place.

Let's Talk!
Choosing a doula is about connection.

It is about finding someone who feels steady, safe, and right for your family during this time.

If you think that might be me, I would love to hear from you.

Let’s talk through what you need and see if I am the right support for you.

Birth doesn’t come with a manual but it does go better with a doula
