Birth & Postnatal Doula in South West London

Pregnancy & Birth Doula Support
The birth of your baby is one of life’s most powerful experiences.
โ
Being invited into that space is a privilege I never take lightly. As your birth doula, I offer calm, continuous and personalised support from pregnancy, through labour and birth, and into those first hours with your baby.
โ
My role is simple. To help you feel informed, confident and fully supported, whatever direction your birth takes.
โ
I provide hands-on, responsive care in the moment, from breathing techniques and positioning to gentle massage and steady reassurance. Whether you need guidance, advocacy, or a quiet grounding presence, I am there alongside you.
โ
This is a shared experience.
โ
I work closely with your birth partner so they feel confident, involved, and clear in how to support you. Together, we create a calm, connected space where you both feel part of the process.
โ
My support continues in those first few hours after your baby arrives, helping you settle in, begin feeding, and navigate this time with reassurance and care. Follow-up postnatal support is there to ease your recovery and support your transition into early parenthood.
โ
While I am based in South West London, I support families across London and Surrey, offering the same consistent, personalised care wherever you choose to give birth.
โ
This is your birth, your body, your choices.
โ
I am there to provide steady, experienced support so you feel respected, informed and never alone at any stage.
What this support looks like
During pregnancy, we prepare together so you feel confident in your choices and understand what matters most to you.
โ
We explore:
๐ฟHow labour works in real terms
๐ฟYour options and decision points
๐ฟHow to prepare emotionally and practically
๐ฟHow your birth partner can feel confident and involved
โ
This is not about creating a perfect plan.
โ
It is about helping you feel informed enough to trust yourself when things unfold differently than expected.

Birth Doula Roadmap
๐ฟLet’s have a chat
We start with a relaxed, no pressure conversation.
You tell me a little about your pregnancy and what kind of support you are looking for. I explain how I work and answer any questions you have.
After this call, I will send you a welcome pack so you can look through everything properly and get a clear sense of how I support families.
โ
๐ฟGetting started
If you choose to move forward, I’ll send over a contract and confirm your booking with a deposit.
From that point, your ongoing, personalised support begins. You’ll be added to a private WhatsApp space so you can reach out with questions, updates, or reassurance whenever you need it.
โ
๐ฟGetting to know each other
Before any formal support begins, we take time to properly connect.
A relaxed meet up, decaf coffee optional.
This is simply about getting comfortable with each other so you feel at ease knowing I will be alongside you through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.
๐ฟAntenatal Support sessions
Your three x three hour antenatal preparation sessions take place in your home and are completely tailored to you.
We focus on helping you feel informed, calm, and confident. Together we explore how labour works, your preferences, and how to prepare practically and emotionally for birth and the early days with your baby.
Everything is delivered at your pace, with space to ask questions and process things without overwhelm.
Hypnobirthing techniques are woven in throughout. These simple, evidence based tools support relaxation, breathing, and focus during labour, helping you feel more grounded and in control.
โโ
๐ฟLabour & Birth Support
I am on call for you from 10 days before your due date until your baby is born.
You can contact me at any time, day or night, once labour begins or if you are unsure what is happening. When the time is right, I join you and stay with you continuously throughout labour and birth.
My role is to support you emotionally and practically as things unfold. This includes helping you stay calm and focused, supporting comfort measures, guiding movement and positioning, and helping you and your birth partner communicate and make decisions with confidence.
๐ฟBaby Support
Usually within a week after your baby is born, I visit you at home for a postnatal session.
This is a calm space to reflect on your birth, talk through feeding or baby care, and check in on how you are recovering physically and emotionally.
You also have continued access to me for reassurance and support during the early weeks of parenthood. Once your doula, always your doula.
๐ฟAdditional Support
Alongside your core doula care, you also have access to:
-
TENS machine hire for labour comfort
-
A curated pregnancy book library
-
Trusted podcasts and evidence based resources
-
Optional support at antenatal appointments
Support continues throughout your journey.
โ๐ฟBack up Doula
In the rare event I cannot attend your birth, you will still be fully supported.
I work closely with a small team of experienced doulas who share my approach and values. You will meet your back-up doula in advance so there is familiarity, continuity, and trust.
โโ
๐ฟFlexible Options
Every pregnancy is different, so your support can be adapted to suit you.
Whether you want more antenatal preparation, additional postnatal care, or a more streamlined birth-focused experience, we can shape the structure so it feels right for your needs.
This is personalised doula support designed around you, not a fixed formula.

Labour, birth and early postnatal care
When labour begins, everything shifts from preparation into presence.
โ
I join you when the time is right and remain with you continuously throughout labour and birth.
โ
My role is to stay close, steady and responsive as things unfold. Sometimes that is active support with movement, positioning or comfort techniques. Sometimes it is quiet reassurance in the background so you can focus inward.
โ
I also support your partner so they feel involved, not lost or unsure. We work as a team so the space feels calm, connected and supported.
โ
After your baby is born, I stay with you in those early hours to help you settle, feed, rest, and begin adjusting to life as a parent.
โ
This is not a service that starts and stops. It is continuity, from pregnancy through to birth and beyond.
