Antenatal Support & Hypnobirthing

Feeling excited but a little unsure as you get ready for birth?

You are not alone. It’s completely normal to feel a mix of excitement and nerves. My antenatal support is here to swap uncertainty for calm, clear confidence. Whether you’re going it alone or with a partner, you’ll get the tools, knowledge, and support to feel ready for labour, birth, and those first days with your baby.

I offer two flexible pathways to meet different needs, so you can pick the one that feels right for you.

Antenatal Support – Practical Birth Preparation

Antenatal Support is the foundation. It gives you everything you need to feel prepared and confident as you navigate pregnancy, labour, and the first weeks with your baby. In these sessions, we’ll cover what to expect during labour, how your body works, and practical tips for looking after yourself and your newborn in those early days.

Whether you’re dreaming of a homebirth, planning a hospital birth, or just want to feel prepared for anything, this pathway gives you clear, honest guidance without any fluff.

This package is for you if you want to:

  • Understand what really happens in labour and those first weeks with your baby

  • Feel confident making decisions for your birth and early parenting

  • Reduce anxiety by knowing what to expect

  • Get practical tips for recovery and caring for your newborn

Hypnobirthing – Calm, Confident Birth

This premium pathway takes everything from Antenatal Support and adds Hypnobirthing techniques for relaxation, breathing, visualisation, and self-hypnosis. These tools are designed to help you stay calm, reduce stress, and feel empowered during labour.

Accredited by the Royal College of Midwives, KG Hypnobirthing is evidence-based and is actually grounded in science - the "hypnobirthing" name doesn't help! It won’t promise a pain-free birth, but it will give you strategies to stay in control, feel confident, and approach labour with clarity.

This package is for you if you want to:

  • Feel calmer and more confident during labour

  • Learn techniques to manage nerves or fear

  • Add extra emotional and mental preparation to your practical birth prep

  • Gain reassurance if you’ve had a previous challenging birth

  • Combine practical knowledge with mindset and relaxation tools

Both pathways give you personalised guidance, practical strategies, and evidence-backed knowledge. You can take them as stand-alone courses if you just want preparation, or include them as part of my Birth Package, which gives you my in-person support on the day or night.

No matter which pathway or package you choose, my aim is the same: to help you feel informed, supported, and confident, so you can approach your birth and those first days with your baby feeling calm, capable, and ready for whatever comes next.

How my Antenatal Support Looks -

Relaxed first meet (coffee optional!)
We’ll start with a relaxed catch-up to get to know each other, talk through your pregnancy so far, and review any previous birth experiences. This helps us shape a plan that reflects your needs and priorities.

Two pathways:

1) Antenatal Support – 3 x 3-hour sessions

These sessions take place in the comfort of your home with a cuppa in hand. They are a safe space to:

  • Understand your options with clear, evidence-based guidance

  • Explore what feels right for you

  • Share your journey and ask anything on your mind

  • Clarify your hopes and wishes for birth and beyond

2) Antenatal + KG Hypnobirthing – 4 x 3-hour sessions

Includes all antenatal content above plus extra time for:

  • Advanced breathing techniques, relaxation, and mindset strategies

  • Guided meditations to practise in the weeks leading up to birth

Extra support to feel calm, empowered, and in control on the day

This pathway is a premium, fully immersive preparation experience, giving more tools and resources than the antenatal option.

Ongoing support throughout your pregnancy

I’ll be available via WhatsApp, phone, or Zoom until your birth. You’ll receive:

  • Step-by-step guidance to create your birth and postnatal plans

  • Tailored answers to any questions that come up

  • Evidence-based information and local resources

  • Practical templates and helpful handouts

  • Support with everything from understanding labour to packing your hospital bag

Feeling genuinely prepared
By the end, you’ll feel ready to navigate birth and the early weeks of parenthood with calm, confidence, and practical know-how, whether you are attending alone or with a support person.

I was nervous about attempting a VBAC after a previous intervention, but Emma walked me through my options, helped me understand the physiology of labour, and supported me emotionally through every decision. When labour began she was calm and present, helping me feel capable and empowered. I truly felt like we were a team"
